Drilldowns

Three complementary ways to dig into a chart tile:

1. Cross-filter (filter drilldown)​

Click a category or series segment to filter other tiles on the same dataset. Hold ⌘/Ctrl to accumulate multiple values. Configure under right-click → Cross-filter.

The source tile can show a Filtering others pill while cross-filter is active.

2. Underlying data​

  • Right-click → View underlying data, or enable Click opens underlying data in Setup → Drilldown.
  • Opens a paged table of raw rows for the tile’s combined filters (sheet + tile + hierarchy + page controls) plus the clicked category.
  • Export CSV from the modal.

3. Dashboard drilldown​

In Setup → Drilldown, pick a target report page. On chart click:

  1. Optionally carry the clicked category into the dataset filter
  2. Navigate to the target page
  3. Show a Drilled from … — back chip above the canvas

Hierarchy drill (for example Year → Month → Day, or a custom field path) stays local to the tile and is separate from page navigation.

Per-tile user filters​

Each chart can also have User filters (funnel icon on the tile header): column / operator / value rows that apply only to that tile. Operators depend on the column type (numbers, text contains, dates, and so on).
